Oyo APC Youth Leader- Aremu, Urges Youth to Embrace Peace, Unity During Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations
Hon. John Aremu Oyetunji, the Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has called on the youth and the wider Muslim community to celebrate the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir with a spirit of peace, unity, and mutual respect. In his goodwill message, Hon. Oyetunji emphasized the importance of these virtues in building a harmonious and progressive society.
In a statement to newsmen on Saturday, Hon. Oyetunji extended his warm greetings to the Muslim faithful, party members, and the entire youth population in Oyo State. “As we celebrate the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir, I congratulate the Muslim community in Oyo State and across Nigeria. This festive period is a reminder for us all, especially the youth, to show love, tolerance, and unity,” he stated.
He praised President Tinubu for his dedication to inclusive governance and recent appointments that have positively impacted Oyo State. Hon. Oyetunji expressed his support for the President’s Renewed Hope agenda and congratulated the new appointees. “We commend President Tinubu for his inclusive leadership and the recent appointments benefiting Oyo State. We stand in solidarity with the Renewed Hope agenda and congratulate the new appointees,” he noted.
Hon. Oyetunji also called on the youth to foster inter-religious harmony and work together for the betterment of the state and the nation. “Let us, as youth, promote equality and mutual respect among all religious groups. This Eid-el-Kabir, I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to pray for a prosperous and united society,” he concluded.
