Adult film star Sophia Leone has died after she was found unresponsive in her apartment March 1, her family said. The police is investigate her cause of death, her stepfather said on a GoFundMe page created to fund her memorial. She was 26. 101 Modeling, an modelling agency, in a post on X said Sophia’s death is being investigated as a robbery and homicide.
According to her IMDb page, Sophia Leone was born on June 10, 1997 in Miami, USA and had starred in over 80 films after venturing into the adult entertainment industry at 18.
Modelling agency 101 Modeling in a post on X said: “Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone. A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you. A GoFundMe has been started for her family.”
Brian Berke, who runs Leone’s Florida-based agency, AMA Modeling, expressed his heartbreak over Leone’s death: “At 18 years old you started with me at AMA and now at 26 I have to say goodbye. We had such an Amazing Bond. Always reminding each other how much we cared. I was supposed to be your guardian angel. A piece of me is gone. I love you, Sophia,” Berke wrote on X.
Last month, Kagney Linn Karter, a notable figure in the adult entertainment field, sadly died at the age of 36, shocking both those who knew her and her fans. It was reported that her deceased body was discovered at her residence in Parma, Ohio. Following her passing, friends of the late star had launched a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe to help cover her funeral expenses. Additionally, in January, Jesse Jane, a well-known adult film actress, passed away at 43 years old due to a drug overdose, as per reports. It has also been reported that another adult film star Emily Willis is battling for her life after being found unresponsive at a rehab facility.
In the GoFundMe page created by Sophia Leone’s stepfather he expressed that Sophia’s sudden passing has deeply saddened her loved ones and friends, leaving them grappling not only with grief and the pursuit of justice but also with unexpected financial burden on the family.
Contributions made will support funeral expenses and any additional costs arising from the family’s ordeal, he said.
“Sophia was dearly loved as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. She harbored a profound affection for all animals, especially her three pets. Her zest for life, evident in her love for travel and her ability to bring smiles to those around her, will be cherished forever,” her step-father remarked.
