Eid-el-Kabir:Prince Wasiu Olukan Hosts Muslim Faithfuls, Political Leaders in Ogbomoso(Photos)
Furemont grassroots politician and former aide to the late Governor Alao-Akala, Alhaji Olukan, hosted hundreds of Muslim faithfuls, political associates, and influential figures at his Ogbomoso residence to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. The annual event, which brings together people of all faiths, was marked by a spirit of unity as attendees dined and socialized together.
This year’s celebration saw a significant turnout of political stakeholders, demonstrating the strong connections and influence Alhaji Olukan maintains within the community. Notable attendees included Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, the house of Reps member, representing Ogbomoso North, south and Oriire Federal constituency, Hon. Tunde Oloyede, APC Senatorial Chairman of Oyo North; Hon. Wale Adeleke, Former Chairman of Ogbomoso South; the APC Party Chairman of Oriire Local Government; the Acting Party Chairman of Ogbomoso North; Bayo Otunla, Former Personal Assistant to Gov. Akala; Alhaji Kamorudeen Koro, APC Leader, Surulere; Hon. Adeyemo Jella; Tunde T. Fat; Hon. Muklta; Hon. Azeez Akintola; members of the Akala Vanguard from five local governments, including youth leaders, women leaders, and chairpersons; Hon. Oyedele Oladunni; Hon. Kunle Adeyi; Alhaji Akeem Lamidi Lawore; and Prince Segun Olalere, CEO of Rotana Hotel and Millennium Hotel amongst other.
The event underscored Alhaji Olukan’s dedication to fostering community and political engagement through the annual Sallah celebration. His hospitality and the diverse attendance highlighted the unity and collaborative spirit among different political factions and the general populace in Ogbomoso.
