After her induction, an unidentified gunman opened fire on a medical student as she was returning home barely 12hours after US intelligence predicted a
deadly terrorist attack in Abuja

She went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma and went by the name Celestina.

Celestina was returning to Abuja, where she lived, 13 days after being accepted into the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria, when she was fatally shot by as-yet-unidentified assailants.

Celestina formerly served as the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) of Nigeria’s vice president for two terms.

Those who knew her were stunned to learn of her passing, and many have expressed their grief on Facebook.
