JUST IN: Seyi Makinde appoints Omolewa as new Oyo Park Management System chairman after sacking Auxiliary
The governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde has announced the appointment of Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa as Chairman, of the Park Management System (PMS) in the state.
Makinde announced the appointment on Sunday through his Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
This comes a week after the governor sacked Mukaila Auxiliary as the PMS boss and also dissolved the PMS committee led by Auxiliary.
The governor also named Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal as the secretary of the PMS.
He said that the appointment was part of the reorganization of the PMS embarked upon by the state government.
“Oyo State Government has announced Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa, former Park Management System (PMS) Secretary, as the new Chairman.
“Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal is to serve as the secretary”.
Omolewa who is also known as Tommy was the former state secretary of the PMS. A former member of NURTW who had held various positions before the composition of the PMS.
He is a philanthropist and a highly qualified personality to steer the affairs of PMS for sustainable development and economic prosperity
