18-year-old Boy Strangles Mother To Death For Calling Him A Bastard
The Acre Chief Magistrate’s Court last weekend ordered 18-year-old Topemomo to be remanded in custody on suspicion of strangling his 52-year-old mother Stella Momo.
This was announced by police prosecutor Nelson Akinthaimhin
what the defendant was charged with
murder.
According to Akintimehin, the accused
committed a crime in the middle of the night
September 6, 2022, at Ikakumia
Ondo state.

She said in her confession, Tope told her relatives that she choked her mother to death when she woke her in the middle of the night, showered her with curses, and called her a bastard many times. She said she had to say it.”
Prosecutors said the crimes were inconsistent

Defendant argued in court that:
“I haven’t had peace since her mother was buried, so I had to confess to suffocating her. So I hope the court will show me mercy. “
But the prosecutor asked the court.
detain the defendant in a correctional institution,
until the outcome of the deliberation
Director General of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (DPP).
Defendant’s petition was not taken as chief
Musa Al-Yunnus, Magistrate of the Peace,

Al-Yunnus therefore postponed the case
