Why I Wear Same Outfit To Court — Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has disclosed the reason behind consistently wearing the same outfit to court appearances.

Kanu, who has been seen in court wearing white Fendi attire since the commencement of his trial in 2021, responded to a journalist’s inquiry on Tuesday.

When asked why he was wearing the same attire again, Kanu simply stated, “They didn’t give me any outfit.”

Additionally, on Tuesday, Kanu urged the Federal High Court to transfer him to Kuje prison.

He raised concerns about the Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly lacking adequate medical facilities to treat him, expressing fears of a conspiracy for him to perish while in custody under the agency’s care.

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja also refused to grant the detained leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) bail in the alleged terrorism charges preferred against him by the Federal Government.

Furthermore, Kanu made it clear that anyone involved in violence in the name of IPOB would face consequences, asserting that peace could be restored to the region within minutes if he were released from custody.
