Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union (FOGSU) National Council.
Plea for Reduction of Aspirants’ Form Fees
Dear Sir,
I write this letter as the outgoing General Secretary of the Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union (FOGSU) National Council, and on behalf of the aspirants and stakeholders of our esteemed union, to humbly plead for the reconsideration and reduction of the aspirants’ form fees for this electoral process.
This plea is made in light of the current economic realities in Nigeria, which have significantly impacted the financial capabilities of many of our students. A reduction in the form fees will not only ease the burden on aspiring candidates but will also promote inclusivity and participation in the democratic processes of our great union.
Additionally, a reduction in the form fees would align with the principles of financial prudence and transparency, ensuring that our union’s funds are effectively managed in the upcoming year. This proactive step will help mitigate any risk of fund mismanagement while fostering a sense of fairness and unity among all members.
We believe that taking this step will further enhance the reputation of our union as a body that prioritizes the welfare of its members and operates with the utmost sense of responsibility and equity.
I kindly urge you to consider this plea in the best interest of FOGSU and all its members. We remain committed to supporting your efforts in upholding the values of our great union.
Thank you for your attention and anticipated favorable response.
Yours sincerely,
