Ronaldo Takes Decision On Leaving Man Utd After Meeting Ten Hag, Alex Ferguson
Cristiano Ronaldo held crucial meetings in Sir Alex Ferguson’s presence on Tuesday, but he is still adamant that he will leave Manchester United this summer.
The captain of Portugal hasn’t participated in preseason workouts with Erik ten Hag’s team since his agent Jorge Mendes is working to find him a new team this summer.
Tuesday saw the arrival of Ronaldo and Mendes at United’s Carrington training facility for talks. Ferguson and United CEO Richard Arnold were also present.
In 2003, Ferguson brought a 17-year-old Ronaldo to Manchester, and he was instrumental in helping him develop into a star football player.
However, the Daily Telegraph reports that Ronaldo is still adamant on leaving Old Trafford and joining another team following the first round of negotiations.
The former Real Madrid player will play a crucial part this season for United under Erik ten Hag, and the club has been categorical that he will not be permitted to leave.
