In a statement released this morning, Hon. Tolani Adigun expressed deep sorrow over the unexpected passing of Chief Isaac Omodewu, the Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Adigun described the death of Chief Omodewu as both shocking and devastating. She praised the late APC chieftain as a complete gentleman who made significant contributions to the progressive political movement. “His good nature and impactful presence will be sorely missed,” Tolani noted.
Reflecting on the loss, Hon. Tolani said, “His passing at this critical time is truly heartbreaking. I am deeply saddened but take comfort in the fact that his life was filled with remarkable achievements and good deeds.”
She further emphasized the void that Chief Omodewu’s death leaves in the state and the nation, saying, “Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole have lost a great man. His composure, peaceful demeanor, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to people-oriented ideals were evident in all he did.”
Hon. Adigun concluded his tribute with prayers for the deceased, saying, “I pray that Almighty God grants him Eternal rest and provides strength to his immediate family, friends, associates, and all of us who mourn his passage into eternity.”
