President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a 30-day confab for youths in the country to discuss and address challenges confronting them.
Tinubu stated this on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, during Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day Anniversary Broadcast.
He said; “As we work to overcome the challenges of the day, we remain mindful of the next generation as we seek to galvanise their creative energy towards a better future,” he said during his second Independence Day Anniversary Broadcast since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.

Bolaji Rẹpẹtẹ, Former Deputy National Youth Leader and board member, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians on the country’s 64th Independence anniversary, urging citizens to remain patient and optimistic as the nation’s brightest days lie ahead.
Rẹpẹtẹ also voiced his confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing his belief in the president’s ability to guide Nigeria through its current challenges.
In a statement issued by his media office in Iseyin on Monday, Rẹpẹtẹ reflected on the importance of October 1st, emphasizing that the day symbolizes the resilience and strength of the Nigerian people over the past 64 years.
“Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary provides us with a moment to reflect on our national journey—on the victories and the obstacles we’ve faced. Despite these challenges, we remain a strong, united, and determined people,” Rẹpẹtẹ stated.
He acknowledged the economic and security difficulties confronting the nation but urged Nigerians to place their trust in President Tinubu’s leadership. According to Rẹpẹtẹ, the president’s policies and vision are geared toward steering the country towards lasting prosperity.
“As we face these trying times, I encourage Nigerians to have faith in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. His policies, though demanding patience, are laying the groundwork for a stronger and more resilient economy. With his extensive experience and commitment to progressive governance, I am confident he is the right leader to guide Nigeria toward stability,” Rẹpẹtẹ affirmed.
The former youth leader also lauded the efforts of both past and present leaders in driving national development. He stressed that unity and cooperation among citizens are vital to achieving a prosperous future.
