JUST IN: WhatsApp is letting users post voice notes as statuses (See how It Works)
WhatsApp is now allowing voice notes to be posted as statuses, which means up to 30 seconds of recordings for a person’s connections to hear. These voice notes will vanish after 24 hours, and is the rearmost in what can be participated via the status point.
Statuses were first introduced by WhatsApp in 2017; so far, prints, vids, GIFs and textbooks have been included as possibilities. The new voice point is being added as voice dispatches have come a more popular point on the app. In March last time, the company declared that 7 billion voice dispatches were being transferred daily.
In addition to this, WhatsApp is erecting on statuses by allowing status responses, just as the company launched communication responses last time. There will also be the option to choose your followership for statuses, so not all connections are privy to similar posts. The followership selection can be saved and used for all posterior statuses.
It’s unclear how numerous people actually use statuses to communicate with musketeers, but the company is easily working to drive traction towards this point.
