JUST IN: Tinubu appoints Bianca Ojukwu and 6 others as new ministers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers to his cabinet.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the presidency after the federal executive council meeting on Wednesday.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu was appointed as minister of state foreign affairs while Jumoke Oduwole was named the minister of industry, trade and investment.
Others are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Ministry of Livestock Development; Rt.Hon.Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State Education.
It was earlier reported that the president sacked six ministers and also re-assigned 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios.
The Ministers that were relieved from the cabinet were Prof. Tahir Mamman, (Education), Uju Kennedy Ohanenye (Women Affairs), Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Lola Ade-John (Tourism) and the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, who has been replaced.
