JUST IN: Ibrahim Gusau Become The New NFF President

Amaju Pinnick, the outgoing NFF President, was previously prevented by Justice Inyang Ekwo from holding the NFF executive election that was slated for September 30 in Edo till hearing on October 31.
Yesterday, though, an appeals court nullified the temporary order.
At the 78th Elective Congress of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), which was held in Benin, the capital of Edo State, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau was chosen as the organization’s new president.
Former First Vice President Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi received 12 votes, but Gusau received 21 votes to defeat him. Shehu Dikko, the former chairman of the League Management Committee (LMC), received just six votes.

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau led administration will pilot the affairs of the NFF for the next 4 years.
Gusau is the Chairman, Football Association Chairmen, a member of CAF Organising Committee and FA Chairman, Zamfara State Football Association.
