I’ll Finally Crush and Defeat Terrorist Before I Leave in 2023 – Buhari
Before leaving office in 2023, President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to finally smash and utterly eliminate bandit terrorists.
In a statement released on Sunday by Garba Shehu, Buhari’s special assistant for media and publicity, made the pledge.
He mentioned this while expressing sympathy for Adamu Muazu, the former governor of Bauchi State and former PDP national chairman, who had lost his brother and had his sister kidnapped by bandits.
The incident shocked and outraged the Nigerian leader, who said that protecting residents’ lives and property remained his top concern.
In order to ensure that they come up with a decisive answer to halt this danger, Buhari continued, he has kept the military chiefs on their toes.
Therefore, he prayed to God to pardon the deceased’s soul and give the family the strength to endure this double tragedy.
This double loss is particularly heartbreaking, the statement reads. I am aware that the impact of this tragedy on your family is difficult to bear. I can relate to your suffering.
“Let me use this opportunity to promise you and the other Nigerians who are currently threatened by the crimes of the bandits that I will stop at nothing to see that these foes of humanity are ultimately and completely vanquished.
“Security is my constant concern and I have kept the service chiefs on their toes to ensure that they come up with a decisive solution to end this menace.”
