Four Nigerians Arrested after having clash with Police Officers In Lagos (Photos, Video)
Four people who were seen attacking a group of police officers in a viral video have been detained by the Lagos State Police Command.
The suspects are two males and two women, according to a statement released by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, on Saturday, August 27.
“No conclusions drawn yet,” he said. Video recordings from both sides will be analysed. The automobile is currently at the station with all of its passengers. They are Ehis Tito Odigie (m), a renowned music producer, who is 33 years old; Oyedeji Motunrayo (f), a corps member who is 26; Miracle Onukuoforobi (f), a student at Igbinedion University who is 27; and Bolade Richard (m), a corps member who is 31.
Even the police officers are being questioned. The inquiry is still ongoing. Everyone found guilty—police included—will face the law, that much is certain.
Although the details of what happened are unclear, the suspects can be seen fighting and yelling at the officers while resisting arrest in the footage.
