The young man, whose identity has yet to be revealed, is said to have committed suicide due to a failed relationship.
A source said the incident occurred on Friday at the Federal Institute of Technology in Oko, Orumba North Regional Government, Anambra.

Revealing this, the institution’s student Iyke Orji described the deceased as “an almost indistinguishable intelligent boy (first grader), full of energy and vitality.”
Orji added:
“He is currently an administration student in his IT term. He decided to stay in Orko as an industrial apprentice for a year, but instead of devoting himself to his education, he decided to search for true love. ”
According to reports, his girlfriend recently broke up with him and the news devastated him, unable to accept it on Friday and died after taking sniper insecticide.
Facility spokesperson Chijioke Ibejiakor was unable to respond to the incident because he did not answer calls on his mobile phone.
His DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, a spokesman for the State Police Command, could not be reached at press time to confirm the incident.
