A young lady has been hailed by members of a community after she helped to revive an ailing horse.
The woman said to be chaste, revived the animal at the request of a traditionalist who said only a woman with purity can do so.
It is said that in some African communities, when a horse is terribly ill, it takes a woman who is either a virgin or has never been with more than one man in her lifetime to jump over it and the horse will become healed.
A video making the rounds online shows when she jumped over the dying horse and moments later, it stood up.
Young men quickly rushed to lift the lady up in jubilation and sang her praise as the animal galloped away with giant strides.
