Nigerian travellers to Dubai were stopped and their passports were taken at the airport.
A video from the airport was posted by one of the affected travellers.
It depicts Nigerians demanding explanations after having their passports arbitrarily taken away.
Others are spotted waiting to hear their destiny while seated in a vacant space.
One of those being held is overheard requesting an Arab man to hand over her passport so she can leave the Arab nation and return to Nigeria.
The lady who tweeted the video stated that her sister later picked her up from immigration after a “tedious process” but other Nigerians who didn’t have anyone in the country were not released.
