After Confronting A Suspected Cultist At A Club, A Nigerian Man Was Stabbed To Death In Malaysia(Photos)
A 32-year-old man identified as Toheeb Salau aka Gentee was stabbed to death by a suspected cultist in a Malaysian club.
HGS Media Plus reports that the incident occurred on his Sunday, October 2, in the Jalan Razak area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The deceased was found to have confronted a certain Gol Emerald Edilin, leader of Malaysia’s Aye Brotherhood, an alleged cultist, for allegedly slapping his pregnant wife on the buttocks, Mr. Toin.
Witnesses said the deceased and the suspect nearly got into a fight but were stopped by the timely intervention of other clubbers.
The deceased and his wife later left the club and moved to another club, and the suspect and his gang followed him to a new club, where he was stabbed along with two of his injured friends. The deceased was found dead after being stabbed while two friends were fighting for their lives.
Wangsa Maju District Police Chief Supt Ashari Abu Samah confirmed the incident on Sunday morning.
“Investigations revealed that the victims had been involved in a fight with a group of Africans. He died of injuries. He is said to have suffered a cut on the back of his neck,” he said in a statement. Eight foreigners, six men and two women between the ages of 26 and 40, were arrested in connection with the murder of the deceased and taken to the Wangsamaju District Police Station.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
