Malete, Tobiloba Daniel, a student at Kwara State University (KWASU), and his rumoured lover, Arewa Abayomi, were discovered dead in Daniel’s dorm room outside the campus, Daily Trust has learned.
Both of the victims were 200-level students who were taking the current exams at the time of the tragedy.
We assume they were lovers, and we were concerned when they disappeared for three days and during an exam, a KWASU student told City & Crime.
“Some of their pals discovered them dead and naked when they arrived at their dorm room outside the school. We believe there has been poisoning.
According to KWASU’s spokesperson, Hajia Saeedat Aliyu, there hasn’t been any official communication on the subject.
The two of them were discovered dead in their room, and the police were notified, according to SP Ajayi Okasanmi, the state’s police spokesman, who also confirmed the occurrence.
“Our officers opened the door, and they were transported for an autopsy to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH). An investigation is being conducted.
