13-Year-Old Boy Impregnates His 9-Year-Old Cousin In Zimbabwe (Photos)
Police in Zimbabwe have confirmed that a 13-year-old boy impregnated his 9-year-old cousin in Tsholotsho.
Her 29-year-old father of a pregnant girl was arrested on October 29, 2022 shortly after her daughter’s pregnancy was announced. He is said to have cooperated with police investigations.
Many suspect that the father raped his 9-year-old daughter, who was diagnosed with a rare condition called precocious puberty.
Allegations arose after her husband claimed the mother of the 9-year-old had warned her child that goblins would come to visit them at night and insert her things into her pubic area. The Applied Genetic Testing Center (AGTC) at the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) volunteered to help authorities identify who abused and impregnated a 9-year-old girl.
A paternity test revealed that the victim’s 13-year-old cousin was in fact the child’s father.
The country’s deputy police spokesman, Paul Nyaty, said in a statement.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed on the 25th that the National University of Science and Technology is the father of the child.
“The 9-year-old complainant and suspect are currently receiving appropriate advice from the police’s Victim Support Unit (VFU).
“Police are now working with other relevant government departments to ensure due process of law is followed.
