In furtherance to intimating people about the upcoming 200 Hours Cook-A-Thon by Chef Tope Maggie on 9th November, 2023, my team and I were at Brave 91.1 FM, Igbo Ile area, along Iresa Adu, Ogbomoso.
It was an interesting session as the programme anchored by Olusegun Aremu Ajaabale afforded me the opportunity again to speak to our esteemed listeners on our preparations so far towards making the occasion a huge success.
The event is a multimillion naira project and this program afforded me the opportunity to appreciate all those who have assisted us in one way or the other and also to plead for both spiritual, financial and material assistance from the general public.
Earlier before we made our trip to Brave FM, we were at the Destiny Office of Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala at Sekoni to brief him about the progress and setbacks recorded so far and we also used the opportunity to proffer way forward to making sure Ogbomoso is projected positively to the world again through the Cook -A-Thon programme.
We were warmly received by the legislator who represents Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency. We also had a warm and robust discussion. The lawmaker has pledged to support the project in all ways that will bring the Guineas World Record on Cook -A-Thon to Ogbomoso.
The CEO At Sarek Stores, Adeogun area, Alhaji Sarafadeen Aremu, a renowned philanthropist and lover of Ogbomoso forms huge of our bulk sponsors and donors. Just as he has also pledged to assist the project to make it a success.
We also paid a condolence visit to Bello Plastics, Oja Titun area, where we commiserated with CEO, Alhaji Noah Bello, who lost his elder sister few days ago.
