Lamiju Akala provides free JAMB forms to over 300 students in Ogbomoso

In a bid to support education and empower young minds, Hon. Olaminuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala, lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire federal constituency has provided free JAMB forms to over 300 students across the constituency.

The initiative, carried out under the Ojuoloore Educational Support Fund, aims to remove financial barriers that hinder students from furthering their education.

According to the All Progressive Congress APC chieftain who is also the chairman of Reps Committe on Youths in Parliament, access to quality education is a fundamental right and a key driver of personal and national development.

   

“By removing financial barriers, we empower young minds to pursue their academic dreams and contribute meaningfully to society. More than ever, I am committed to supporting the growth of the educational sector in Nigeria and will continue to take actions that create opportunities for Nigerian youths, starting with Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire federal constituency,” he stated.

This marks the second phase of the initiative, reinforcing Akala’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and providing opportunities for students in the region.

The gesture has been widely commended, with beneficiaries and parents expressing gratitude for the financial relief and opportunity to participate in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
