ICT Training: Oriire Youths Laud Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, Say ‘It’s a Worthy Training for Our Clime’

In what Oriire youths described as an “outstanding display of commitment to youth empowerment and education,” Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala has once again demonstrated his dedication to the development of his constituency. Through his initiative, about 10 students have been granted free JAMB registration through the Oriire Youth Council, along with several others sponsored directly by him, ensuring they have a fair chance to compete academically and pursue higher education.
Beyond JAMB registration, Hon. Alao-Akala extended his empowerment initiatives to the council by providing cash grants, laptops, and digital skills training to young people in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, and Oriire Federal Constituency.
This initiative, according to the facilitators at the program, aims to equip students and youths with the necessary tools to thrive in the ever-evolving digital economy.
The beneficiaries, including members of the Oriire Youth Council, expressed their gratitude, acknowledging that such opportunities would significantly impact their academic and career pursuits.
Community leaders and stakeholders, especially the Oriire Youth Council, have also commended the initiative, describing it as a step in the right direction toward sustainable youth development.
While we remain Oliver Twist, we encourage Hon. Olamijuwonlo to keep the flag flying, especially in the areas of education and infrastructure development. These efforts will ensure that the indigenes of Oriire Local Government, particularly youths and students, can compete with their peers across the state and the nation.
We remain committed to our unwavering support and partnership in the future to implement initiatives that will elevate our local government to greater and enviable heights.
Once again, thank you, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala.
