The Ooni of Ife will marry Tobi Phillips and Ashley Adegoke before her 48th birthday this month.
Tobi Phillips is a marine science graduate from the University of Lagos and a former beauty queen. Initially, it was speculated that she would succeed Orori Zainab Ullaora, who had left her marriage to the Osun monarch.
Ooni eventually married the Prophet’s girlfriend Silekunola Naomi, but the marriage ended for her in December 2021. Meanwhile, Queen Ashley is a chartered accountant and currently runs an NGO that cares for underprivileged children and widows through the Ashley Adegoke Foundation.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich and currently runs her business in the UK.
Rumors are circulating that Queen Ashley, from the Rafogid royal family, is having a child with another man. Her late father, Jacob Adeby Adegoke, was the Source Prince.
Before his coronation, Ooni married Adebko Kombata in 2008, but the marriage was unsuccessful. After his accession to the throne, Ohito married Edo-born Zainab Otiti Obanoor in 2016, but the relationship lasted 17 months before they parted ways.
Ooni then married Sirek Nora in 2018, the marriage produced a son, and they announced their divorce in December.
