Popular singer David Adeleke aka Davido has revealed why he deserves over 20 Grammy Awards.
The singer was previously disqualified by the Recording Academy and was nominated in three categories at the 66th Grammy Awards.
Ahead of the 66th Grammy Awards, Davido recently said in an interview with France 24 that he is eligible to win 20 Grammy Awards to date.
Davido said: “Kudos to the Recording Academy.
This is my first nomination.
So getting three at once is crazy.
“We worked really hard on this album (‘Timeless’).
We were just very patient.
When I asked them if they’d ever won a Grammy before, they said, ‘I need 20 Grammys already.
‘ But like I said, God’s timing is best.
Let’s see what happens.
” The 66th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Los Angeles.
Davido’s album “Timeless” is nominated in the “Best Global Music Album” category.
“Feel” and “Unavailable” were nominated in the “Best Global Music Performance” and “Best African Music Performance” categories respectively.
