A day old baby Thursday was found abandoned in a charcoal sack at Baaki area of Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
According to an impeccable source, the baby, a boy, was found by students going to school dumped by the road side.
“The students were attracted by the site and quickly picked up the tot. He was put in a charcoal sack,” the source told STAR POTTER
“They brought the baby to the Baaki Maternity Centre at Baaki area, the umbilical cord was yet uncut, it was at the maternity centre the cord was sliced off. It is certain the baby was born overnight.”
The baby was attended to, meanwhile, he has been taken to a government home in Ibadan, the state capital.
