His Royal Highness High Chief Samuel Oyeleye Ariori, the Baale of Osupa in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, is dead.
High Chief Ariori, according to one of his sons, Prince Bayo Aboyarin Ariori, died Monday night at his residence in Ogbomoso at the age of 88.
Confirming the transition to ogbomosoinsightonline.com. Prince Bayo said “the Baale Osupa passed away on Monday night during a brief illness. He recently developed a high sugar level but he decided not to trouble himself receiving elaborate medical treatment on the grounds that he was already old. He battled with the ailment until he finally succumbed to the cold hands of death yesterday night.”
He informed the late traditional ruler would be buried this weekend after a funeral service at First Baptist Church, Okelerin on Saturday.
He is survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
