DECLARATION OF INTENT TO RUN FOR THE POSITION OF FOGSU NATIONAL PRESIDENT
As I stand before you today, I am reminded of the profound words of DWIGHT D. Eisenhower, who astutely observed that “the supreme quality of leadership is unquestionably integrity.” It is with this guiding principle in mind that I, ATIBA BLESSING IFEOLUWA (P.K.A ATIBA), a Student from Emmanuel Alayende University of education oyo , hereby declare my intention to run for the esteemed position of FOGSU National President in the forthcoming election.
Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated invaluable leadership skills, honed through my experiences in various capacities. I have come to realize that effective leadership necessitates a unique blend of skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to make informed, decisive decisions. A leader must be willing to collaborate, to innovate, and to adapt in an ever-evolving landscape.
As a passionate advocate for student welfare, I am deeply committed to creating positive change within our association. My vision for FOGSU is one of inclusivity, transparency, and progress. I aim to foster a culture of open communication, where every student feels empowered to contribute their voice and perspectives.
As your prospective incoming president, I pledge to work tirelessly to address the pressing concerns of our student body. I will strive to build bridges, to find common ground, and to create opportunities that benefit all members of our association.
