Explosion Rocks Kogi Government Office
Following a loud explosion that was heard on the property housing the office of the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, there was concern in some areas of Lokoja, Kogi State, on Tuesday.
The event, according to DAILY POST, took place early on Tuesday.
Our correspondent attempted to contact the Kogi State Police Command, but was unable because Williams Ovye Aya, the command’s spokesman, was unavailable to answer his calls and did not reply to texts provided to him.
In the state, there have been a number of bomb explosion incidents.
Recall that on June 3, a bomb went off in the Idoji neighbourhood of the state’s Okene Local Government Area, killing one citizen and injuring others.
