An NFF board member has reacted to calls for Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro to be sacked, noting that it would be impossible to do at this point in time
Nigerians have been calling for the sack of the coach after a disappointing performance by the Super Eagles in the World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
NFF has opened up that they needed money to sack Jose Peseiro.
NFF board member Hon. Nse Essien revealed that it is impossible to sack the coach at the moment.
Pulse Sports reported that the current NFF board extended Peseiro’s contract, but they cut his pay from $70,000 to $50,000, claiming they couldn’t afford his prior wage.
