Scholarship offers for Ajaawa students, instituted by RCCG pastor
Students of Ajaawa origin, headquarters of Ogo-Oluwa local government area of Oyo state, are to enjoy scholarship awards to aid their academic pursuits and serve as incentives to aspiring students.
Barrister Pastor Remi Adebiyi and his wife Barrister Bisi Adebiyi are the initiators of the scholarship programmes under the auspices of their foundation, Remi & Bisi Adebiyi Love Foundation (RBALF).
Undergraduates in law, medicine & surgery and other causes as well as secondary school students and primary school pupils will benefit the offers.
A statement made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com highlights the objectives of the programme, “Scholarship programs for students in Primary, Secondary and Polytechnic / University undergraduates. The objective of the scholarships project is to push the students and motivate them with the desire to overcome difficulties and, In this way, improve their family lives and socio- economic position.”
The awards are in different categories including RBALF EDUBRIDGE, covering scholarship award for best primary school pupils; RBALF EDUSPARK for best secondary school students; and RBALF EDUQUEST for current undergraduate students.
Also, there will be awards for best primary and secondary school teachers under RBALF EDUTEACH, as well as free uniforms for students and pupils.
The presentation ceremony will come up Saturday, September 14, at the hall of Baptist Grammar School, Ajaawa.
Adebiyi, a Lagos-based pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and lawyer, is an indigene of Ajaawa and has been involved in several developmental projects in the community in the past, fully supported by his Kwara state – born wife.
