Some Nigerians have stormed the streets of Ibadan, Oyo state, to protest the worsening hardship in the nation.
The protest, scheduled by some groups to take place on Independence Day, October 1, kicked off in Ikeja, Lagos.
Despite tight security in Ibadan, a few protesters came out to take part in the demonstration.
“End bad governance now,” one of the placards held by a protester reads.
