Oyo Govt Increases LAUTECH Doctors’ Hazard Allowance, Clears 7 Months Arrears

The Seyi Makinde led Oyo State Government has increased the hazard allowance of resident doctors at the Ladoke Abiola University Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso part of the state.

The governor also paid seven months arrears of the workers between January and July this year.

Olaniyan, while speaking with our correspondent, disclosed the hazard allowance and arrears payment were paid last week.

“He increased the hazard allowance from N5,000. He has put everyone where they are supposed to be in terms of amount collection for the hazard. Those who are supposed to get N25,000; N35,000 and respective amounts now get such,” the ARD president said.

The health workers, while appreciating the governor for the act of service, also call on him to fast track other demands.

“I personally appreciate his effort and for him putting a smile on our faces at this time. We also urge the governor to grant our requests as a way of fostering more quality service delivery,” Olaniyan added.
