Hajiya Dada, the mother of Nigeria’s late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, has passed away.
She died in Katsina on Monday evening.
Hajiya Dada was a figure of historical significance, known as the only woman in Nigeria to have given birth to a President, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, a former Vice President, Shehu Musa Yar’adua, a Minister, and a Governor.
Additionally, three of her granddaughters have held the prestigious title of First Lady, as wives of the former Governors of Katsina, Bauchi, and Kebbi States.
