A Nigerian man has placed a bet on Arsenal to win their UCL quarter-final match against Real Madrid.
The match is scheduled to hold today, April 8th 2025.
In a post on X, the man identified as @mrbayoa1 invited others to join him in the wager.
He wrote: “Public service announcement: If anyone wants to place a personal bet with me on the Arsenal vs Real Madrid match, just let me know – I’m up for it with each and every one of you. Important note: If the match ends in a draw, you win. #Gunner ✊✊.”
Their conversation went as follows:

@mrbayoa1: “Any amount you want, I’m down for it – be it $10k, $100k, or $200k. Let’s do it. Which wallet? Who’s the escrow? But with you, it’s straight up win; if it’s a draw, we share.”
