Kunle Afolayan Reacts As Nigeria Oscars award Rejects “Anikulapo” Movie
Ankrapo, a newly released movie by Noriwood veteran actor Kunre Aforayan, was disqualified from the Oscar nomination list.
The Aniklapo movie was broadcast on September 30, which happened to be Kunre Afolayan’s birthday.
Kunre Aforayan’s Anikrapo film was widely accepted in less than a week since its release and was highly evaluated around the world.
However, despite the recognition of Kunre Aforayan’s Aniklapo, Oscar refused him from the nomination list, so it seemed not appropriate to her.
The Academy Awards, a well -known Oscar, are awards for artistic and technical achievements in the United States and the international film industry. Many people think that this award is the most authoritative and important award in the entertainment industry around the world.
Kunle Afolayan expressed disappointment when he accessed her platform with a verified social media.
He wrote, “I am so pleased and delighted that the whole world has decided to tag ANIKULAPO film a masterpiece even though the Nigeria Oscar selection committee think its not worth submitting for the Oscars. Will keep doing my own thing. See his post below:
