Elderly ambulance driver dies in a Lagos traffic while driving patient to hospital(Video)
An elderly ambulance driver has reportedly died while transporting a patient to a hospital in Lagos State.
According to a post shared by popular X blogger @starpotternews, the driver was behind the wheel of an ambulance when he reportedly stopped breathing while caught in traffic around Ikoyi, Lagos.
A video shared alongside the report showed the ambulance parked on the road, while people at the scene appeared concerned about the driver’s condition.
A person at the scene was also heard appealing to members of the public who could identify the hospital or ambulance service involved to help reach the appropriate authorities and medical personnel.
The incident has sparked concerns about the challenges faced by emergency responders and the difficulties of transporting patients through heavy traffic in Lagos.
