World’s richest man, Elon Musk has reportedly lost a staggering $34 billion overnight over his ongoing feud with America’s President Donald Trump.
This comes after Tesla’s share price crashed 14% and lost $150 billion in market value on Thursday.
According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, on June 6, 2025, the net worth of Elon Musk dropped nearly $33.9 billion in a day as it fell around $97.9 billion on a year-to-date basis.
However, Musk still ranks first in the index with a net worth of $335 billion on June 6, 2025, followed by Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg with $241 billion wealth.
The plunge came as Musk and Trump exchanged words on social media, with Trump threatening to cut government contracts singed with Musk’s companies.
Musk also threatened to stop SpaceX’s work for the government.
