Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has charged Christians and all Nigerians in general to rededicate their lives to the service of God and humanity.
This solemn admonition is contained in an Easter message by the monarch signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Community Relations, Peter Olaleye.
“I rejoice with all children of God on the celebration of Easter which began last week with the commemoration of the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem,” the Oba stated.
“It’s a significant festival preceded by a 40 day – Lenten season. It is a festival of sacrifice culminating in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. Let’s this spirit of sacrifice continue to mark our services to our fellow citizens, communities, and Nigeria as a whole.
“We remember Jesus sacrifice and let’s continue to give thanks to Him for the salvation He brought to the world. Let’s deepen our sacrifice in serving Him and our communities.
“I rejoice with all sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland, this is another Clarion call to make significant contributions to our city. Let’s build in cooperation and unity. A great future beckons.”
