Although officials claimed to be on the trail of the attackers, military sources who requested anonymity said the attack was confirmation of the militants’ siege of the city.

One of the sources claims that the 7 Guards Battalion soldiers were attacked by the alleged terrorists while they were conducting a normal patrol along the Kubwa-Bwari road.

Three soldiers were hurt during the attack, he continued, and they were taken to THE hospital for treatment.
