Last night, another robbery occurred at Jokodolu in the Aroje region, close to LAUTECH. Armed robbers assaulted the hostel, macheted the hostel security officer, injured students and carried away expensive belongings.
This isn’t the first time that LAUTECH students have seen a horrifying trend of repetitive robberies with little to no response from law enforcement. Hostels are no longer safe for students.
