Toddler drowns in violent death at Oke-Osuru well in Ogbomoso South Municipality
The sad incident that occurred Wednesday morning is said to have been caused by the mother’s negligence.
“The mother just came in, unwrapped her and put her 18-month-old baby on the floor, and she was busy with other things.
“She didn’t know when the baby crawled into the well. The well was open and level because there were no rings.
“The baby fell unconscious into a well. General Hospital confirmed she was dead, although she recovered before firefighters arrived.”
However, the matter was not reported to the police department at the time this charge was filed.
